A Traffic Cone and a Pothole Plate

If you knit a small traffic cone – with reflective yarn no less! – you will need to make a pothole plate to go with it. So here’s exactly that. A screaming orange handknit sight gag, with a hand-formed and appropriately crusty and crumbly, but quite sturdy, porcelain plate to sit on.  Enjoy the details in the photos, especially the B/W one where we tried to capture some of the light reflection.

  • An unexpected clay + fiber pairing
  • Convincing day-glo orange knitted traffic cone
  • Actual safety reflective yarn
  • Hand-formed crusty pothole plate
  • Have fun presenting and displaying this one!
  • Definitely a one-of-a-kind gift
