It’s been decades of paintings, now. While some can reflect my explorations in mixed media, colored pencil, watercolor, inks, paint pens and what have you, most are made with acrylic or water mixable oils, often with graphite touches. I like seeing evidence of the hand at play in my mark-making. I enjoy expressing how the whole creates a feeling of place and a point of view. The gamut runs all over: from a variety of landscapes, to interiors, still lifes, figures and portraits, all exploring light as it reveals shapes and atmospheres, line as it defines space.
